La Jolla, CA 2008: Major Pool Renovations Complete

Major pool renovations are complete at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center located in La Jolla, CA. KCM Group provided Owner's project management services with Gordon Kovtun as Principal Manager and Carlos Oliver as Project Manager. Rowley International was the pool designer, the contractor was Mission Pools with Mike Roudeboush as Project Manager. The $2M project included a new 15 person spa, kid's pool with water features, new colored concrete pool decking, major equipment replacement, new pool plaster and other amenities.

El Cajon, May, 2007: Parking Structure Complete

KCM Group, Inc., a San Diego based construction management and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the opening of a five story parking structure which offers 2229 additional parking spaces at Sycuan Resort & Casino. The renovation includes an enclosed pedestrian walkway leading into the casino and further renovations inside the casino to accomadate casino patrons.

Participating contractors included general contractor Rudolph & Sletten, recently acquired by Perini Building Company, Bomel Construction, Cattrac Construction, Inc. and Neal Electric.

San Diego, November, 2006: Sanderling Condo Reconstruction Project Nears Completion

KCM Group, Inc., a construction management and consulting firm has completed project management services on the reconstruction on the Sanderling, a 36 unit luxury condominium project located on the Mission Bay. The $1.8 million renovation project included framing repairs and reconstruction, replacement of windows and sliding glass doors, stucco repair, and replacement of synthetic decking on private balconies and common area walkways.

KCM Group, Inc. served as Sanderling HOA’s representative and was represented by Principal Manager, Gordon Kovtun and Project Manager, Carlos Oliver. Golba Architecture was the project architect represented by Tim Golba.  SunValley Builders was the reconstruction general contractor represented by Larry Levoff and Ralph Pedrero.

San Diego, October, 2006: Resort operations running smoothly during remodel in Oceanside, CA

KCM Group, Inc., a San Diego based construction management and consulting firm, has been retained as owner’s representative/project manager by Radelow Gittins Real Property Management Company to oversee Phase I renovations of the Oceanside Marina Suites – a mid-size seaside resort. Participating contractors include JB Riha Construction and the Royster Group Construction, Inc. The renovation work includes installation of a new electrical service and distribution, new decks/patios, new guardrails and site improvements. Radlow Gittins Real Property Management Company is represented by Larry Gittins, President.
